| They grossed over $1.4 million last week ... are advanced sales in January and February really that poor? I assumed they would close before the tour to repurpose sets/costumes, but no. In an ecosystem where shows are either selling very well (SIX, BEETLEJUICE, FUNNY GIRL, MUSIC MAN, ALADDIN, etc.) or they are absolutely not (TAKE ME OUT, most nonprofit shows including the abysmal 1776, TOPDOG), it's odd that one of the more regular Box Office winners would willingly bow out. | |

| So I guess they could extend for 2-3 months but historically those are bad months for shows unless a huge hit. I wouldn’t be surprised if part of reopening was getting the covid funding or disruptive insurance. I’m not sure if reopening was a requirement or not but the insurance payments were $5-9m which would really pay the cost of the move and startup. The grosses have been surprisingly good at the marquis. | |

| Looking at all of their weekly grosses, its likely that they triggered their stop clause in May or August - meaning the owner could ask them to leave whenever they wanted to after that - just as happened at the Winter Garden. Holiday season sales have been great - they will go out well.. They may also have had as do many other shows, no significant sales in January-Feberuary. | |
