| They grossed over $1.4 million last week ... are advanced sales in January and February really that poor? I assumed they would close before the tour to repurpose sets/costumes, but no. In an ecosystem where shows are either selling very well (SIX, BEETLEJUICE, FUNNY GIRL, MUSIC MAN, ALADDIN, etc.) or they are absolutely not (TAKE ME OUT, most nonprofit shows including the abysmal 1776, TOPDOG), it's odd that one of the more regular Box Office winners would willingly bow out. |
