| And a perfect very very very last minute gift idea! It's "Liz Callaway: To Steve with Love" - a collection of his songs in tribute after his passing. The medleys are smartly done, the anecdotes just enough, and earn their keep, and she plays it straight - no unnecessary embellishments; she trusts the material (of course). Where lyrics have been slightly altered or parodied, the alterations and parody work perfectly. I've never been so impressed at a first hearing of a solo Sondheim tribute CD before. A joy! |

| I saw her show in March and thought it was so moving. And when she sings Our Time you feel you have gone back in time with her and she is a young actor singing the song for the first time. Liz has maintained an innocence in her voice which is remarkable. | |

| Totally agree. It is a beautiful album from start to finish and contains some of my all-time Sondheim favorites: "In Buddy's Eyes," "Move On," and "Our Time." The first time I played it, I sat there with tears welling up in my eyes as I thought of how lucky I've been to see every one of Sondheim's shows. This is a CD I will play frequently. | |
