And a perfect very very very last minute gift idea!
It's "Liz Callaway: To Steve with Love" - a collection of his songs in tribute after his passing.
The medleys are smartly done, the anecdotes just enough, and earn their keep, and she plays it straight - no unnecessary embellishments; she trusts the material (of course). Where lyrics have been slightly altered or parodied, the alterations and parody work perfectly.
I've never been so impressed at a first hearing of a solo Sondheim tribute CD before.
