For discussion - my sister text me after seeing the musical number on the Today show. She has not seen the show yet (lives out of state). She writes, "Is this show like the male #metoo musical?" I was so confused. She explained that not knowing anything about the show because I refuse to tell her so as not to spoil anything, from the intro they gave on the Today show, all she could see was an older lady lusting after a geeky teenage boy.
Does "Anagram" work out of context?
Why are they not using "Better" or "How to..." from the top of Act Two? Debra's songs are perfect ads for this show. Or even dad's song in the car will resonate with people, I believe. |
