Am I correct that, aside from the score for To Kill a Mockingbird, this is the first public performance of a new Guettel work since Light in the Piazza (which premiered in Seattle in 2003)?
In full, yes; however, songs from both this and Millions have been performed in concert. Audra McDonald recorded "March Is a Windy Month" from Billions on her Sing Happy album.
