I've seen two productions of CONSTELLATIONS, and in each, the two actors were a real-life married couple: Kate Baldwin and Graham Rowat at Berkshire Theatre Festival, and Sarah Gliko and Jered McLenigan at the Wilma Theater.
Now here's a review of a third instance.
Hmm.
I don't think three productions counts as a trend... but I wonder if theaters are automatically going to married couples for this two-character show so they don't have to work hard to create chemistry. |
