Interesting. I have always felt like the weakest part of the show were those involving the historical characters (Ford and Nesbit in particular) especially when they do not interact with the fictional characters. Their scenes always seem to stop the show’s momentum. Of course the mix of the historical characters with the fictional ones is intrinsic to the novel. He wanted to Say is a in my opinion a wonderful song — and that did involve Brother and Emma Goldman.
