Because then we'd be arguing about what exactly defines "high profile." Do we call the award Best Replacement by a Movie, Television, or Pop Star in a role on Broadway?

There are many "high profile" performers in the theatre whose names no one outside of the tri-state area would know. Would those folks be excluded from such an award?

If we're going to, at least, make the pretense of judging based on the performance, we can't also introduce qualifications based on the who the performer is.
