The source/basis for the show sounds bad to me. While I hoped, even though I doubted, I would like Some Like It Hot, I have no interest in Hee Haw humor (I don't think they use that reference anymore, but it still sounds like it), even a parody thereof.
I don't hope it fails - it just doesn't seem like something today's audiences would find entertaining (despite the hyperbolic linked review and despite some fine people involved). Obviously, we'll know more when people see it and report. |
