I am pretty sure "Irma Vep" is done regionally and has a life after Ludlam. But a lot of the other Ridiculous Theater/Ludlam pieces needed Quinton to be revived - he understood the style and also was the rights owner. I think they will disappear unless some brilliant actor or director takes them on with the blessing of the estate. The limited revival of "Galas" before the pandemic was a brilliant success.

BTW: I knew the late Harvey Tavel (brother of playwright Ronald Tavel, the founder of the Ridiculous Theater). He had little time for Charles Ludlam who seems to have come in and pushed all the original founders out. Ludlam's talent was strong enough to do that but it was originally a very different company.
