Fort Peck I agree. I remember sitting in that small theatre on 42nd St. and being astonished by Mark Ruffalo in "This Is Our Youth." So nice to see his career take off in the years since (though I wish he would return to nyc theatre). I work on the Theatre World awards and both Mark Ruffalo and Billy Crudup did win for those debut performances.
Timothy Chalamet was indeed exciting and moving in "Prodigal Son"-it wasn't his stage debut, but he certainly made an impression.
Such fun to "discover" people early in their careers, and enjoy watching their body of work unfold. |
