| Yes, I got it too. I’ll always see a revival of The Boys from Syracuse or Wonderful Town. Not so keen on another Threepenny Opera, though. After the brilliant one with Raul Julia in the 70s, the three subsequent productions of Threepenny I’ve seen have been one disappointment after another. As for Pirates, I was spoiled by the ebullient NYSF Central Park production decades back, but it’s certainly time for someone to show a newer generation how much fun it can be. |
