| I didn’t see The Whale onstage but I have to agree with Delvino. I found the movie excruciating, and not in the way that might have been intended. Basically a series of two-character encounters. I left wondering if Mr. Hunter might be an overpraised writer. I did see A Case for the Existence of God and, despite some good moments, thought the play was nearly as pretentious as its title. |
