I think you've said this well. I don't want or need to see Evan have some kind of structured punishment as some suggested in the list by steve_sometime. I just wanted to see and hear about the Murphy's and Evan communicating about what had transpired. The punishment is likely the discomfort of sorting through this. And that includes the moral ambiguity some have mentioned.
