War horse was imaginative for awhile but it just got boring. I was amused a week ago during a lion king discussion when someone posted that it was magical for 10 minutes and then went down hill. I’ve thought that since 1997. Circle of life was amazing and then the plot starts. However, there were other elements throughout that held my attention. War horse plot didn’t hold my attention. I couldn’t wait for the show to end so I could leave the theater from a middle seat. Not every show is for everyone. I’m very plot driven even in books. I have a friend who loves a book for the beautiful prose and I’ll reply “but there was no plot!” Life of pi has no plot. |
