| True, it’s not a very good movie. I find Zeller overrated in general, after having seen The Father (which I thought was only ok), and The Mother (which was terrible, though I enjoyed seeing Huppert). This role was not a natural fit for Jackman, but I thought he did a creditable job. Laura Dern and Vanessa Kirby were, as always, excellent. What minimal pleasures there are in watching this film come from the performances. |
