| Previn's music, with lyrics by Johnny Mercer, for the British musical "The Good Companions" is quite wonderful. It's a terrific recording, and I also highly recommend the original J.B. Priestley book, a big hit back in 1929 and still a very fun read, especially for those who love theatrical stories with great characters. |
