Bette Davis was not a trained vocalist, of course, but she really knocked "They're Either Too Young or Too Old" out of the park in the '43 film Thank Your Lucky Stars. She sang with amusing style in the short lived Broadway musical Two's Company. Her performance on an episode of The Andy Williams Show in 1962 was actually quite charming IMO.
Her vocals in Whatever Happened to Baby Jane were campy but that was intentional.
She played a chanteuse in the '37 movie Kid Galahad, but I assume her vocals were dubbed in that film. |
