| Despite being (originally) based on an existing show, this is such an unusual? misguided? unfortunate? unexpected? choice that I'm actually kind of excited, and this is from somewhat who thought Hee Haw was unwatchable, even as a child (or especially as a child?) It's those crazy ideas ... like Hamilton, with visible minorities, and rap ... those South Park writers taking on the Book of Mormon ... a lesbian coming-of-age story about who suicidal father AND it's a graphic novel ... those often become my favourites, while shows like Tootsie, Mrs. Doubtfire, Finding Neverland, remain merely okay. |
