Some of the sketches on The Carol Burnett Show were classic. I still laugh out loud when I think of Burnett dressed in green curtains with the rod still in them as a spoof of Scarlett O'Hara going to visit Rhett Butler in jail because she needed money to pay the taxes on Tara.
BTW, Mr. Porter sure had a way with words (and that ain't hay)! |
