This isn;'t to say that these characters aren't drawn with dark sides - they clearly all have palpable issues. And there is plenty of honest, moving pathos in "The I Love You Song," for instance. But there's dark and then there's DARK, and the show deals mostly humorously with these dark issues. I think sexual abuse is taking things way beyond the tone of the show.

Not that there aren't sexual issues among the character's foibles - Chip's "protuberance" for one, and that little quip about stamina between Schwartzy's parents...but neither of those goes anywhere near abuse. We don't know what the prior "incident" was with Panch, and maybe we're better off not knowing.
