I loved the show too and I think Victoria Clark is also way out in front for Lead Actress. But, as you say, the premise is tough. As much as I adored the show, trying to tell anyone what it's about almost seems like an exercise in my discouraging them from buying a ticket. Seems like the marketing team is having the same issue.
And no stars and no high-profile television performance clips. And the logo doesn't draw you in. |
