It’s funny that the only scores of hers I have liked is thoroughly modern millie and soft power. So looking at your list, clearly we are on the opposite side of what we want to hear in the theater.
I don’t see any advertising for the show, but trying to sell the score is not the way to do it. That opening number at roller rink is just bad and sets the show up in a negative way. The audience barely stood at the end when I saw it and people next to me left at intermission. |
