|I think you premise is somewhat wrong. I would not say it is "doing so poorly." Could it be doing better? Sure. But it is a smallish show in a small house so comparative grosses don't tell the whole story. At this week's gross, the show is not losing a lot, unlike SLIH, with its higher gross and much higher nut. As others have said, this is not a show designed to be a blockbuster or a tourist magnet. It also has a producer who knows a thing or two about producing in this space, and has a willingness to support the shows he believes in and build, as this show has certainly done since it came out of the gate. It is also a show for which the afterlife prospects are very good I think.|
