Fun Home, in some ways comparable, sustained in a house with about 760 seats. But folded at the start of a new season, having been a modest hit. I loved the show - saw it twice - but loathed the ad campaign, even TV commercials animated in a generic lackluster way. To my eye, they had no idea how to market the show. Kimberly at least looks like what it is. But I wish it was more arresting. |
