I wonder if we have just gotten to a saturation point with prices that people just aren't going to pay, except for that once in a while huge zeitgeisty hit.
It's much easier to go see a show that you're not sure about, if you don't have to pony up north or $150/ticket.
And, yes, I know there are plenty of discounts for things out there, but the thing is that WE know about those things because we pay attention to this business...I'm not sure random people really do. They probably know the TKTS booth, but that's about it. |
