| ryhog, I agree with HadriansMall that what you wrote was generally very well-said, but I think saying that people are "choosing to be straight" is not ideal wording IMO and presumably not what you actually meant. "Choosing" implies some deliberate decision-making. I'm not sure if your intention was to convey, "choosing to appear to be straight" or "unaware or unaccepting that they are not completely straight," or all of the above. As you know, some believe that people are "choosing to be gay" and therefore should simply stop choosing that and choose to be straight instead, rather than seeking rights or legal protections. |
