I can't read the link because it's behind a paywall, but this feels like something they would say on Saturday Night Live's Weekend Update. It's funny/not so funny that Santos believed that claiming to be a producer on Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark would be a credential that would make people more likely to give him money...
