| I mentioned this below, but certainly back in the 90s, as we began to enter modern gay liberation, people talked about the youth at the time as being gay or lesbian because it was trendy. It's just one of the steps on the way to being recognized, and it's one of the way that people who don't want to recognize you throw up a roadblock to deny your existence. |
