| I have not seen Pictures from Home yet, but I imagine it could be quite confusing to show photos of the real-life parents when they are not performers in the show. When I was in high school, I was part of a group that did a presentation on The Great Gatsby. We were pointed towards some images with actors, but we also made other images of ourselves portraying characters in scenes that weren't included in the original images. People told me afterwards it was a bit confusing and distracting to have Jay Gatsby, for example, be shown as being portrayed by one person in one slide and someone else in the next slide. It sounds like Pictures from Home might be having the same issue. |
