| I have no useful information to add but just wanted to share. Dick Tracy came out before I even knew who Sondheim was (forgive me, I was only 11). But Madonna's "I'm Breathless" album quickly became my favorite tape of hers. It wasn't until a few years later when I started devouring everything-Sondheim that I could find that I discovered that a lot of those songs were his. "Of course!" I said to myself, no wonder it was my favorite. A Sondhead before I even knew what that meant, lol! |
