I’ve stopped telling people to be quiet. The reaction can be down right hostile and dangerous. I’ve stopped reprimanding people jumping the turnstyle at the subway after I was harassed by the those freeloaders for the entire subway trip. I go to movie theaters that are empty and buy tickets away from others close to start time. If some ahole buys a seat next to mine I just move. Of course I can’t do that for theater.
