| You’re spiraling here. There are certain aspects of audience decorum that can be discriminatory, and there are ways that younger audiences and BIPOC audiences like to engage with plays more enthusiastically. But the request here is to discourage conversations in the audience, and I have seen no evidence that people talking in the audience is an age-specific phenomenon. |
