| How funny, it never occurred to me until reading your post, but I had the same experience. I was 9 or 10 when I'm Breathless was released and I loved the album before I, too, knew who Sondheim was. It wasn't until a few years later, through seemingly endless reruns of Into the Woods and Sunday on Bravo (when it was still an arts channel), that I became aware of Sondheim and, of course, became a lifelong fan. |
