| Yeah, that was the one thing I hated about Fosse/Verdon... they portrayed him as constantly being a brooding nearly humorless depressive "genius", but watch any interview with him (let alone his work, or him working, as a dancer, or in rehearsal), and it's clear he's often quite funny and light. I mean, he came up in vaudeville not opera. |
