So were you there for the Rite of Spring a few weeks ago? "Lacking in power and dynamism"? To my wife and me, it was electrifying. I haven't heard the NY Phil live a lot lately but whenever I do, I reaffirm that it is truly one of the great orchestras. So all this criticism is puzzling to me.
