| Again, the model with something like "Kimberley Akimbo" would surely be something like "Sunday in the Park with George" or "Into the woods" which were both marginal propositions financially in their original run, but got a lot of their theatrical afterlife largely from the availability of the American Playhouse filmings. Shows don't get a robust afterlife unless they are accessible and in the mind of the creatives setting up regional productions. |
