| ...does anyone know how many musicians play on the cast recording? I have a vague recollection that the orchestra was augmented (perhaps quite significantly) for the cast recording. I no longer have my physical copy, but perhaps it's in the liner notes. If my recollection is correct, the "sound" of Sweeney that I've grown up with and most of us know is actually bigger than that of the 26-piece band orchestration being celebrated on Broadway right now. |
