OK, I've listened to both recordings of ''Silverware.'' And I'm baffled: Why would Sondheim wish he had written THIS?

And if ''We Take the Town'' closed out of town, I wonder where Sondheim first heard ''Silverware.''

(YouTube also has a demo of a medley from the show. Frankly, it sounds like it deserved to bomb.)

On the other hand, I loved 2 delightful Karr-Dubey tunes form ''Happy Hunting'': ''It's Good to Be Here'' and ''Mutual Admiration Society.''
