| Just a note that the smaller-scale David Lee revision of the show (which I've seen and did enjoy) also wisely gets rid of all the magic. But whereas he gets completely rid of all of it, including Morgan La Fay, I see that this new production keeps her in to some extent. Just without that tedious ballet that really feels like it's all of a sudden a different show altogether. |
