| A1958 adaptation of Austen's PRIDE AND PREJUDICE, I purchased it on Flare records, a label that specializes in albums whose American copyright has expired. due to arthritis i cant type much, but for me the highlight is A duet for Polly Bergen(Elizabeth Bennett) and Hermoine Gingold as Mrs.Bennet Not a great score but to paraphrase one of the songs, Very Agreeable. Is anyone else familiar with it? |
