It's not really that fascinating - I am a long-time subscriber there. I used to live within walking distance, and now that I am almost an hour's drive away it is still a good value for me. They have far more hits than misses, and I have seen some excellent shows as a subscriber for which I probably wouldn't have even considered buying a single ticket. (Case in point: the current play SELLING KABUL in their smaller house.)
