| Lack of heart is exactly right. I thought SLIH was fine, and entertaining enough, but it felt so much like everybody involved was at work (including the creative team)--doing the job, and not much more than that. Contrast with the electric energy at &Juliet. I expected that show to be just ok, but walked out thinking it was vibrant and heartfelt. |
