| Very promising. The way I see it. This season Encores are producing two lesser known musicals as a way of returning to their original mission. The third production is a better known musical, which I’m guessing has been selected with the idea of producing greater revenue. Until this season, I had stopped subscribing as there were rarely seasons in which I actively wanted to see two of the three selections. At their prices I wasn’t comfortable subscribing if I wasn’t interested in seeing three out of three. I would get single tickets. After reading this article I am feeling a bit of optimism. Now if Wildcat or Fade Out, Fade In or Tovarich or Maggie Flynn made their ‘to do’ list, well, I’d be a very happy Encores subscriber. |
