This is a sincere question to help answer your question, but since the general agreed defintion of a hit is a show that recoups its original capilatization, and LCT is a not-for-profit and doesn't exactly operate in that way, it's hard to answer. Of course behind the scenes their shows still have a capilatization and they either recoup that or they don't, but I don't think anyone without detailed insider knowledge would know that. Add to that they might not even rely 100% on ticket sales to cover recoupment and it gets pretty murky.
Do you mean ran more than x performances, won a bunch of awards, grossed a certain amount of money over its run, got predominantly favorable reviews? Some other measure? |
