Technically, LCT3 isn't a Blackbox, it's LCT's only traditional proscenium arch theater. And while "The Nosebleed' wouldn't have made a big dent on earned income, its popularity and awards recognition from the downtown community will drive a lot of money where it matters, which is contributed income. You have to keep both of those pots in mind when talking about hits in non-profits terms.
And yes, while I think that the OP was talking purely on monetary terms, the OP doesn't understand non-profits, so the conversation is much more expansive than you suggest. |
