| Love that wonderful "if only", Laura, as your novel corrects the sin of LOVE LIFE never getting an original cast recording. I remember talking to actor Johnny Stewart about how Nanette Fabray was his mother in both "High Button Shoes" and the lesser-known "Love Life." I hadn't heard any of the LOVE LIFE score until I came across an astonishing performance of "Here I'll Stay" that Judy Garland and Robert Goulet sang on one of her tv specials....absolutely gorgeous, goosebump time. Let's hope we finally get complete LOVE LIFE score at Encores soon! | |
