Yes, the story put forth by Jackie is that JFK loved the Camelot cast recording, especially the last track and the closing lines of the final lyric.
But is this true? Doubtless he heard it but whether it was something that he loved listening to . . . well, we only have Jackie's word for it, and she was already immersed in myth-making.
Yes, it seems that he did really like the How to Succeed cast recording. |
