Here is a slightly revised version of the list of songs from Love Life that have been commercially recorded that I posted here and elsewhere some years ago. This list is, I'm sure, not complete, but it was the best I could do. Doubtless some new recordings have since appeared. I have not tried to update it, but I've made a few slight adjustments.

I have listed the songs in the order that they occur in the show. Where I'm certain that the original orchestration is used on a recording, I have mentioned it. But the vast majority of these recordings are accompanied just by piano or by a smallish combo.

Some of these are out of print. I had previously indicated those with (OP), but I have deleted that indication as some but not all of them are now again available (in some cases perhaps on different labels), and I can’t keep track of them all. And now it is often fairly easy to get hold of OP recordings or find them on youtube or elsewhere.

On the Berlin to Broadway With Kurt Weill recordings, I may not have the list of singers on individual tracks exactly correct. I could check, but feeling too lazy. Just putting this together again is enough.

Susan's Dream:
Lotte Lenya — This was a live performance on a long out-of-print LP on the Rococo label, later reissued by Bear on a big Lenya CD set. I believe an orchestration adapted from Weill's orchestration was used, even though Lenya sang it in a lower key or perhaps down an octave.

You Understand Me So:
Chita Rivera — Kurt Weill Revisited, Painted Smiles

I look at this now and I marvel that I had the energy to put it together and I don't remember how I found some of this.
